The dog owner is responsible for and will ensure that their

dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations, flea, tick and

worming treatments.

 

The owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused

by their dog whilst being walked. The owner is financially

responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst your

dog is boarding. Precious Paws is not held accountable for

vet fees or third-party claims whilst your dog is in our care.

 

The owner is to make full disclosure of any characteristic problem(s) which may result in your dog(s) not being suitable for any of the services advertised by Precious Paws including behavioural or health problems, antisocial behaviour; including aggression. All dogs are expected to be fully house trained when home boarding at Precious Paws. The owner must disclose any matter which might render the dog unsuitable for walking, pet sitting, home visits or home boarding. If Precious Paws are not informed of any such important information it will result in a fundamental breach of the agreement. 

 

We make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted third party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is, at all times acting in the best interests of the dog on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. The owner is responsible for the payment of any veterinary fees incurred by Precious Paws.

 

Booking:-

 

(Walking/sitting/visits) Clients must ensure to contact Precious Paws within 48 hours if there is any change to pre-arranged schedules.

(Boarding) A non-refundable 25% deposit to secure a booking for home boarding dates.  We ask for a minimum of 28 days' notice prior to the stay if any changes of dates are to be amended.

 

Cancellation:-

 

(Walking/sitting/visits)  A minimum of 14 days' notice is required to cancel any pre-arranged booking, or charges will be incurred.

(Home Boarding) Non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure a booking for home boarding dates.  Bookings are not to be cancelled less than 14 days prior to the stay, or 50% of the total fee will be invoiced to the owner.

 

Prices and Fees:-

 

(Walking/sitting/visits) Charges are as advertised on our Services and Prices page.

 

(Home Boarding)  Charges are per 24 hours.  Any overdue stays after the 24-hour collection period will incur daycare fees (a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings).

 

Termination Policy:-

 

If you wish to cancel any agreements of contract for Dog walking, it is expected that a minimum of 2 weeks' notice is given in writing to Precious Paws.

 

Flexibility is required for Dog walking:-

 

Your bookings for an arranged dog walk are always addressed with punctuality, but depending on road conditions and unforeseen circumstances, please allow flexibility of up to 30 minutes after your booked time slot for Precious Paws to attend. A guaranteed phone call from Precious Paws will be made to notify the owner of any delays in the arrangements beforehand.
